Accounts Receivable

The focal point of our Accounts Receivable (A/R) Team is to multiple our local business office leaders in maximizing their cash collections efforts through education and the implementation of sound billing systems.

Our A/R professionals specialize in healthcare billing throughout their careers and with many of them have operating successful business office operations themselves. We are relentless in our pursuit of A/R excellence and ensuring that our field partners have world class support, from optimizing billing and collection performance.

Accounting & Finance

The accounting team is committed to support the mission driven organization by partnering with front line healthcare operations. We collaborate with our local field leadership and provide them with subject matter expertise that accelerates our ability to grow as an organization. We also services The Ensign Group(ENSG) a Nasdaq company since 2007. Our team encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost reimbursem*nts, finance, general ledger, payroll, public company reporting and tax. We assist our operations by providing back office support and education to help develop and support the day-to-day functions. We are passionate about our mission to support the operations we serve in dignifying post-acute care in the eyes of the world.

Construction

The Construction department, which consists of physical plant operations, asset development, and life safety programs, focuses on building leaders within the team, who will work closely with the operations Executive Director and Maintenance Director, to invest properly in the overall physical plant and life safety programs. Through these leaders we help identify areas of opportunity to improve the physical appearance and the physical operational systems of a building, including overall preventative maintenance and upkeep programs. Team members help Executive Directors execute a vision that will create a sustainable result for their operation and the organization as a whole.

Human Resources

Our HR team partners with operations to coach and guide on employee relations, assist with onboarding, support turnover reduction and retention efforts, help with survey-related employee issues, and whatever else is necessary to make the lives of operators a little easier and facilitate a positive employee experience. We are driven to put the core values of “customer second” and “love one another” into practice. Our Benefits team works tirelessly to provide the operations we serve with health and welfare plan options that support their employee’s whole self. Information Technology

Our team is dedicated to providing tools and technologies with a focus on the user experience. To that end, we invest significantly in our environment and our people. We have partnered with major software platforms to take advantage of their most transformative infrastructure, networking, and data technologies. Our team in made up of infrastructure engineers, networking engineers, security engineers, telco analysts, field resources, helpdesk technicians, and other IT professionals who are passionate about helping others leverage technology to create success in their operations.

Managed Care

Our Managed Care team works with a diversified group of managed care organizations. We coordinate with local operations in each market to initiate, maintain and enhance relationships with our insurance partners. Our diversified team, includes former operational, nursing, therapy and contracting leaders. We also have dedicated staff members devoted to the organization of the credentialing and recredentialingprocesses.

We coordinate with operations and local leadership teams for contracting needs, as well as collaborative reviews with managed care organizations to evaluate performance outcomes and strategize for further development of these healthcare partnerships. As Managed Care continues to evolve, we strive to assess existing tools and develop new methods to analyze our clinical and financial results with the goal of improving the quality clinical outcomes. Our managed care team continues to grow in order to satisfy the challenges within the ever-changing healthcare environment and partner with the operations to meet the needs in each local healthcare market. We look forward to continuing to rise to the challenges that Managed Care presents to us and progress our practices to elevate skilled nursing in healthcare models.

Post Acute Care Continuum

The Post Acute Care Continuum (PACC) Resources are focused on innovative alignment and operationalization of value-based care (VBC), alternative payment models (APM) and care redesign within multiple care settings across the continuum.Our strategic alignment is focused on facility and market key performance metrics (Census, Readmissions, Revenue, Reputation, Value-Based Contracting, Medicare Growth),narrowed networks and preferred provider relationships. The PACC team influences strategic and innovative change by leveraging and educating facility-based leaders and teams including admissions, marketers, liaisons, and operators.We provide analytic support and data on census, market share, competitor comparatives, and profitability metrics for both active operations and new acquisitions. PACC resources work closely with our Managed Care Resources to optimize and operationalize managed care and value based contracts.

People

Our organization has a “first who, then what” mentality. The People departments, which include Recruiting & Retention, Learning & Development, and Leadership Development have an obsession with making sure we get the “first who” right. We help operations recruit and retain the best partners, provide them with the best education and development possible, and assist them in their development of leadership characteristics. We are fanatics at helping our “first who” become the best they can possibly be.

Our team produces the “Raising the Leadership Standard” podcast available on Apple and Spotify.

Therapy

The therapy departments we support are in-house. Therapy directors are an integral part of the leadership team at each facility. Facility therapists have a passion for transforming therapy services for the elderly through state-of-the art clinical care, whether providing short-stay post-acute therapy, services for more fragile long-term residents, or outpatient services for community-based clientele. Our Therapy Resource team is dedicated to helping facility therapy clinicians grow in their clinical and professional goals, all while promoting the importance of maintaining personal health and well-being to build the resilience needed to work in today’s healthcare environment. Therapists working in an Ensign-affiliated building experience countless opportunities for career growth, together with a deep belief in care and love for one another, all contributing to stunningly low turnover numbers in the therapy departments. Facility therapy programs also work very closely with nursing services, and when nurses and therapists combine their clinical expertise, extraordinary care and patient outcomes are possible.

Transactions

The transactions team is committed to supporting the organization by partnering with front line healthcare operations in its efforts to grow. We collaborate with our local field leadership and provide them with subject matter expertise that is related to acquisitions, real estate needs, licensing and regulatory requirements, business transactions and contracts. We assist our operations by providing back office support and education to help develop and support the day-to-day functions. We are passionate about our mission to support the operations we serve in dignifying post-acute care in the eyes of the world. We also service The Ensign Group (ENSG) a Nasdaq company since 2007 with its investments in healthcare facilities, financings and other capital markets transactions as well as general organizational governance matters. Our team is comprised of professionals in mergers and acquisitions, finance, business law, capital markets, business entity governance, healthcare licensing and contracts.
